Answer : Complementary = (42°,48°), (63°,27°)

13. 3⅕ ÷ 1⅔ का मान जात करो।
Find the value of 3⅕ ÷ 1⅔.
Answer : 3⅕ ÷ 1⅔ = 16/5 ÷ 5/3 = 16/5 × 3/5 = 48/25

14. 500 किलो ग्राम का 75% कितना होगा ?
What will be 75% of 500 kg?
Answer : 75/100 × 500 = 375 kg

15. एक संख्या के 8 गुणा में 2 जोड़ने पर 50 प्राप्त होता है। संख्या जात करो।
Adding 2 to 8 times a number gives 50. Find the number.
Answer : Let number = x
ATQ,
8x + 2 = 50
8x = 50 – 2
8x = 48
x = 48 ÷ 8
x = 6
The number is 6.

16. 13, 16, 12, 14, 19, 12, 14, 13, 14 का माध्यक व बहुलक ज्ज्ञात करो।
Find the median and mode of 13, 16, 12, 14, 19, 12, 14, 13, 14.
Answer : Ascending order is 12, 12, 13, 13, 14, 14, 14, 16, 19
Median = 14 [(n+1)/2 th = (9+1)/2 = 5th term]
Mode = 14

17. जूही एक वॉशिंग मशीन ₹ 13500 में बेचती है। सौदेबाजी में उसे 20% का नुकसान हुआ। उसने इसे किस कीमत पर खरीदा?
Juhi sells a washing machine for ₹ 13500. She loses 20% in the bargain. What was the price at which she bought it?
Answer : Selling Price (SP) = ₹ 13500
Loss% (L%) = 20%
Cost Price (CP) = (SP × 100) / (100 – L%) = (13500 × 100) / (100 – 20) = (13500 × 100) / 80 = 16875
The cost of washing machine is ₹ 16875.

18. 56000 रु पर 2 वर्ष बाद किस दर से 280 रु साधारण ब्याज देय होगा?
At what rate will simple interest of Rs 280 be payable on Rs 56000 after 2 years?
Answer : Principal (P) = ₹ 56000
Time (T) = 2 years
Simple Interest (SI) = ₹ 280
Rate (R) = ?
SI = (P × R × T) / 100
R = (SI × 100) / (P × T) = (280 × 100) / (56000 × 2) = 1/4 = 0.25 %
Rate (R) = 0.25 %
